Violet&Lucky

We met Violet online – looking for an older dog that needed a new home and a welcoming family.  When we saw our girl, we fell in love immediately!

Our Boston Terrier, Lucky, fell in love with Violet and she with him.  They are inseparable and love to nuzzle each other in the morning after breakfast.

When people meet Violet, they are spellbound by her uncanny ability to connect with them.  My sister-in-law told me, “She spoke to me.  She can see into my soul.”

Everyone loves our girl, but the most wonderful thing about Violet is her sweetness and sheer lovability.

We’re currently beginning our journey to try and achieve Canine Good Citizen status for Violet.

 

Violet came to us nearly a year ago.  We found our sweet tripawd doggie on the Pet Finder search engine.  Having just lost our Sheltie after 16 years, we felt that having just one dog was a sad state of affairs.  Lucky, our Boston terrier, was moping around the house and so sad and lonely.  He and Violet are the best of friends.

 

We are working on Violet’s certification as a therapy dog.  Hoping to get that done in the next year or so.
